BibleTales Christmas First Shepherds

Christmas First: Shepherds tells the humble yet extraordinary story of the shepherds chosen to hear heaven's joyful announcement that the Savior had been born.

One quiet night outside Bethlehem, shepherds kept watch over their flocks. Suddenly, the sky lit up with the glory of God, and an angel appeared with good news of great joy - the Messiah had come! Then, a multitude of angels filled the heavens, praising God and proclaiming peace on earth. Without delay, the shepherds hurried to Bethlehem, found the baby lying in a manger, and shared what they had seen and heard, leaving all who listened amazed.

Told in gentle, poetic language and framed by the warm voice of a grandmother reading to her grandchildren, this richly illustrated book weaves Scripture and devotional reflection into a story children will treasure and parents will love to share. Short, lyrical passages invite conversation and reflection, making it well suited to family reading, bedtime devotions, classrooms, and churches.

Part of the Christmas First series, Shepherds invites readers to step into the starlit fields of Bethlehem, hear the angels' praise, and join the humble shepherds in wonder at the newborn King.
