Little Black Bear is having breakfast! A round apple on the table, a bag in his hand, distant mountains... "Shapes" are so ubiquitous, hidden in everyday objects and nature. The *Little Black Bear Shape Game Book* cleverly utilizes this feature, combining three shape puzzles with an imaginative story, allowing children to read and play simultaneously, engaging both their minds and hands. They think about where to place the circle, triangle, and square, then put the puzzle pieces in their corresponding positions in the book, satisfying their hands-on enjoyment. Toddlers around one year old can begin to match basic shapes; two-year-olds can distinguish shapes and perceive their characteristics; children over three years old can already differentiate and name circles, squares, and triangles. Recognizing shapes is not only an important indicator of a child's visual recognition ability but also a prerequisite for reading and literacy, and it also greatly helps in the development of drawing skills.
